Please read carefully below the rules to be followed in the studio. We hope that you will understand that these rules are in place to ensure that teachers can devote their full time to the teaching of our young, up and coming ballerinas.

In order for teachers to devote the allotted time to the student's class work it is important that the following rules for every class are in place:

Grooming
Please ensure that students have the correct uniform purchased from our suppliers (visit uniforms), with hair neatly in a bun and tied firmly away from the face. Loose shoulder length hair is not acceptable.

Shoes
Ballet shoes must have ribbons, and should be tied firmly and correctly with the knot tucked under ankle bone on the inside of the leg. Please check our website - terricharlesworthballet.com.au - in the 'Our Program' heading and then 'Grooming' you will find a video explaining how to sew ribbons on to ballet shoes and tie them correctly. We do not want valuable class time to be taken up by teachers having to tie student's ribbons - thank you.

Water Bottles
Water bottles should not be brought into the pre?Primary ½ hour classes. Parents need to make sure that children have a drink before and after the class. Children should also be encouraged to go to the toilet before coming into the class.

Changing into Uniform
Children must be dressed outside the studio. All shoe coverings (including 'Crocs') and belongings are to be left outside the studio.

Commencement & Conclusion of Classes
Students are asked to arrive 5 minutes prior to class commencement time inorder to prepare. Parents are asked to stay with young children until the go in to the studio. Please also be on time to pick up children after class - we do not want children distressed or running away from the studio looking for Mum or Dad.

Parent Communication
As Miss Charlesworth would like to be involved with every student's well being and progress, parents are requested to phone her on 9475 0320 to obtain any information or to address any issues that parent's might want to discuss. We want to avoid valuable student class time being lost because of parents approaching teachers in the studios. Miss Charlesworth will discuss any relevant issues with the teachers concerned and phone you back quickly. This will help keep Miss Charlesworth involved with parent's & student issues in the branches and save valuable class time for each and every one of our students.

Thank you for your cooperation.
